Job Description:

Robert Half (Technology Solutions) is searching for an Infrastructure Engineer / IT Manager with a background in Azure AD/Entra, AD, Leadership, Vendor Relations, VMware, FortiGate, GPO, and Windows Infrastructure. For this opportunity, you will work hybrid remote in the Huntington Beach, CA area. The job scope includes Active Directory user administration, Microsoft 365 and Azure admin center tasks, Group Policy creation and modification, VMware system management, and deep expertise in desktop support and networking concepts.

Job Responsibility:

Active Directory
Microsoft 365 admin center user license assignment and Microsoft MFA user configuration and troubleshooting
Conversion / creation of Shared Mailboxes and permissions / forwarding
Azure AD Connect installation and troubleshooting
Group Policy troubleshooting
Creation of new GPOs and modification of existing ones
VMware ESXi / vCenter
VM creation / cloning
VM resource allocation modification
VM snapshots and rollbacks
Desktop Support issues at software and hardware levels with Windows 11 OS
desktop and label printers' operation, configuration, and troubleshooting
moving entire user profiles and customizations
Staging and deploying desktop / laptop computers and peripherals
Staging and troubleshooting VoIP devices
Staging and troubleshooting enterprise Android devices
Fortinet firewalls
Network switching
Networking concepts troubleshooting (IP addressing, subnetting, DNS, switching, port forwarding, etc.)
VPN connectivity troubleshooting
RDP configuration and resource forwarding
Ethernet and wireless connectivity troubleshooting
Communicate technical details in management terms

Staging and deploying desktop / laptop computers and peripherals
Staging and troubleshooting VoIP devices
Staging and troubleshooting enterprise Android devices (Zebra)
Fortinet firewalls

Solid understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, subnetting, DNS, switching, port forwarding, etc.)
VPN connectivity troubleshooting
