Job Description:

We are in search of an Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in the White River Junction, Vermont area. If you want to be a key contributor to the maintenance and optimization of the client's network and wireless infrastructure, this Infrastructure Engineer position will be great for you. This permanent employment opportunity is based in Upper Valley New Hampshire/Vermont area and is hybrid remote with occasional office visits.

Job Responsibility:

Operate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
Be a part of the development of design of information and operational support systems
Effectively guarantee the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Head and keep a close watch on all installed systems and infrastructure
Screen and analyze application performance for potential bottlenecks, specify possible solutions, and act jointly with developers to apply those fixes
Write down and keep up custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
Administrate backup, security, and redundancy strategies
Install, maintain, configure, and test operating systems, application software and system management tools
Give 2nd and 3rd level support

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or in a similar role
Proficiency in Cisco Technologies
Experience with Citrix Technologies
Knowledge of Cloud Technologies is required
Familiarity with Dell Technologies
Demonstrated experience with Active Directory
Ability to implement Automation techniques
Experience with Backup Technologies
Proficiency in Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Windows
Prior experience with VMware is required
Ability to handle Firewall Configuration and administration
Knowledge of Router Switches
Familiarity with vSphere
