Job Description:

The company is a global leader in open-source software offering solutions for cloud computing, virtualization, and IT management. The role involves marketing the company’s products/services through telephone outreach to qualified prospects, answering inquiries, taking orders, generating leads via cold calling, and directing qualified leads to the sales team.

Job Responsibility:

Receive and qualify inbound leads related to your technology area
collaborate with the Asia Pacific Marketing and Strategic Business Development teams to run targeted outbound campaigns
nurture prospective customers with relevant, value-added contact that helps them progress their initiatives and achieve their goals
learn extensively about your technology area by participating regularly in coaching sessions with the Strategic Business Development team and through your own initiative
keep up-to-date on the industry and competitive landscape
plan your daily and weekly activities to achieve predefined quarterly qualified pipeline generation and bookings targets
maintain accurate and updated activity, lead, and pipeline records
provide regular and ad-hoc activity and forecast reports to management
answer inquiries and take orders
generate leads via cold calling
direct qualified leads to the sales team
send marketing materials
stay informed about industry trends and competitors
report on activities and forecasts

Requirements:

2 years of experience
Bachelor's degree or a technical degree
ability to hold engaging conversations with prospective customers
passion for sales and marketing
