Job Description:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal specialising in Insolvency to join a reputable firm, providing key support to the team. The role involves a mix of administrative, legal, and research tasks, offering valuable exposure to a fast-paced legal environment.

Job Responsibility:

Managing case administration on the SOS case management system, including opening, closing, and updating matters
Preparing court and mediation bundles
Drafting legal updates and blog articles for the firm's website
Attending court hearings, mediations, and meetings to take detailed notes and minutes
Ensuring file compliance with regulatory standards and internal procedures
Assisting with the billing process and liaising with the finance team
Drafting correspondence and legal documents
Conducting legal research
Handling telephone calls for the team
Supporting operational reviews and process improvements
Coordinating multi-party meetings, including travel arrangements, scheduling, and document preparation

Requirements:

Strong academic background with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Commercial awareness and a keen eye for detail
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and development
Strong IT skills and familiarity with case management systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
