Job Description:

This is a 4-month contract position for a Sr. Internal Auditor in Richardson, Texas, within the non-profit industry. The role involves planning and conducting audit engagement work, analyzing data, and preparing working papers. The work schedule is hybrid: 1 day a week onsite and 4 days a week remote.

Job Responsibility:

Perform internal audit services
Conduct engagement-level planning and risk assessment
Develop work programs and/or engagement plans
Collect and analyze appropriate types of information, data, and evidence
Prepare thorough, well-organized, and self-explanatory working papers
Provide needed guidance and instruction to other team members
Identify and develop issues and negotiate with audit clients
Keep the project manager up to date regarding the status of work performed
Draft engagement reports, and entrance/exit conference presentations
Evaluate client’s written responses to recommendations

Requirements:

Strong experience in Auditing
Expertise in developing and implementing Audit Plans
Proficiency in Internal Audit
Ability to prepare Working Papers
Critical Thinking
Communication Skills (verbal, written, listening, professionalism, interpersonal)
Relationship management skills
