Job Description:

The role involves using home furnishing competence to create solutions, planning and executing range presentations efficiently, staying updated about trends, contributing to department action plans, and collaborating with teams and functions.

Job Responsibility:

Create home furnishing solutions in room settings, homes, vignettes and sales support areas that reflect the IKEA identity
secure high quality, simplicity, efficiency and cost consciousness when planning and implementing range presentation solutions using global tools and best practices
stay updated and knowledgeable about home furnishing, retailing and trends
contribute in workshops to generate creative ideas
contribute to the content of the department action plan to grow business and support long-term profitability
execute agreed plans together with the team and other functions
respect routines and responsibilities, act quickly to exploit commercial opportunities, and understand the impact of actions on financial results.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Interior Designer (must provide industrial training placement letter from institution)
ability to use IKEA design tools (AutoCAD, Sketchup, Revit, IPEX etc)
ambitious plus drive and motivation to work in a fast-paced environment where winning business and meeting targets are essential
strong work ethic & sense of commitment
a team player, enjoy building good working relationships at all levels.
