Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

Supporting the department in reviewing design proposals for new hotel projects and prepare reports
Assist in the preparation of Property Improvement Plans for conversion hotels as well as hotel renovation projects
Conduct progressive site inspections and prepare inspection reports
Conduct handover inspections and prepare defect rectification reports
Upkeep and maintain department design database
Prepare presentation materials during design meetings

Requirements:

Undergraduate in Architecture, Interior Design or Engineering preferred
Singaporean, Singapore Permanent Resident Holder or valid student pass / work holiday pass
Eligible for undergraduate in a Singapore registered university program / undergraduate or graduate of a university in Singapore, Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, United Kingdom or United States
Prepared to commit to a six months’ internship
Ability to learn quickly and excel in a fast-paced environment
Detailed-oriented, structured, and organized
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent command of spoken and written English, additional Asian language will be an advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)
Ability to understand Architectural drawings

Nice to have:

Additional Asian language proficiency
