Job Description:

We currently have an offer for the position of International Medical Operations Senior Manager at one of our clients from the healthcare industry.

Job Responsibility:

lead international medical governance meetings, townhalls, and educational events
deliver a balanced scorecard for international medical teams, focusing on outcome-based performance measures
oversee integration and optimization of IT systems (e.g., Veeva, financial tools) for medical operations
manage grants and donations processes, ensuring compliance and timely execution
develop and implement onboarding strategies for new medical team members
track and manage a medical budget across the region
lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and financial planning process
monitor financial aspects of international congress attendance strategies
identify and implement improvements in medical processes (e.g., KOL engagement strategies, material reviews)
collaborate with compliance teams to develop and refine SOPs
design and execute functional training programs for medical teams, leveraging external vendors when needed
manage Investigator Study Trials (ISTs), from concept approval to closure
partner with MSL Managers in Europe and Japan to enhance operational standards and training
support the Chief Medical Officer in preparing presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

advanced degree in Medical, Pharmaceutical, or Health Sciences (PhD or PharmD preferred)
4–6 years of experience in medical affairs within pharma, biotech, or med-tech industries
proven ability to work in matrixed and cross-functional environments
strong track record in multi-project management and financial oversight
proficiency with IT systems like Veeva
experience in diagnostics is a plus
exceptional written and oral communication skills in English
additional languages are advantageous
ability to travel: 10%
