Job Description:

As an International Pharmacy Intern, you will complete US internship hours to build upon your pharmaceutical education while working under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Responsibilities include pharmacy operations, patient care, customer service, and regulatory compliance. The role focuses on developing skills in practice management, leadership, and preparation for licensure exams.

Job Responsibility:

Greet customers in a courteous and professional manner
assist pharmacy and front store customers
answer telephones
comply with federal and state laws, rules, and regulations
process prescriptions including translation of SIG codes and labeling
maintain inventory management processes
offer to counsel customers under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
perform pharmacy operations tasks such as resolving third party rejections
lead with heart by demonstrating empathy and compassion.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or General Equivalent Development (GED)
Doctorate (PharmD) or equivalent Pharmacist degree from a Non-US accredited school of pharmacy
active Pharmacy Intern license in state where district is located
0 to 3 years of related work experience.

Nice to have:

Eligibility to immunize
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
