Job Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Accountant in the Manufacturing industry. The role is located in Knightdale, North Carolina, United States, and will be based in our workplace.

Job Responsibility:

Administer the process of customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency
Maintain up-to-date records of customer credit information
Handle and resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally
Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when needed
Maintain and create new inventory bin locations
Administer parts and whole goods inventory adjustments
Conduct weekly audits of multiple sites for error verification
Assist in inventory reconciliation during month-end closing
Prepare for and participate in annual physical inventory counting
Administer the issuance of credit and debit memos
Handle inventory transfer between dealers and verify the correctness of serial numbers
Issue purchase orders for non-inventory items
Process drop ship invoices, receive in, and bill freight if required
Reconcile equipment and issue volume bonus credits/debits quarterly via ERP solutions such as SAP

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
Bachelor's degree in accounting
Familiarity with Cerner Technologies
Experience with ERP Solutions
Knowledge of SAP
Ability to handle Month End Close tasks effectively
Experience in conducting Annual Physical Inventory
Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
