Job Description:

This role involves collaborating with business users, technologists, and other stakeholders to create technology product visions and roadmaps while handling the entire spectrum of SDLC. Responsibilities include defining product roadmaps, managing product backlogs, risk mitigation, and active participation in agile processes and scrum activities.

Job Responsibility:

Collaborate with prospective and operational and business users to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into technology product requirements
define a vision for the team’s product and maintain a cohesive vision throughout the SDLC process
create a product roadmap based on this vision
manage the product backlog and prioritize the tasks based on challenging and often competing requirements
active participation in stages of the technology product creation
monitor and evaluate product progress at each stage of the process
identify and communicate risks and impacts and propose risk mitigation options
consult with business clients to determine system functional specifications and partner with multiple management teams and other units to meet organizational objectives
evaluate new IT developments and evolving business requirements and recommend appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems
provide in-depth and sophisticated analyses to define problems and develop innovative solutions
supervise day-to-day staff management issues including resource management, work allocation, and mentoring/coaching
deliver updates and status reports and actively participate in all scrum activities and product sprints.

Requirements:

Extensive experience in product companies as product owner/manager
experience delivering strategic change programs spanning multiple years in a fast-paced financial product company
adept in agile practices and strong ability to develop, manage and continuously prioritize backlog
product knowledge of OTC Derivatives or related domain, especially Confirmations, is a plus
energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive
proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) with extensive experience using Excel for data analysis
experience with all phases of Software Development Life Cycle and agile practices for software development and delivery
comprehensive knowledge of the principles of business analysis.

Product knowledge of OTC Derivatives
knowledge in Confirmations domain
