Job Description:

The IT Business Senior Analyst is responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical, and clear way. This role contributes to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance to drive business planning. Responsibilities include project management, consulting with clients to solve system issues, supporting system change processes, risk assessment, and vendor management.

Job Responsibility:

formulate and define systems scope and objectives for complex projects and foster communication between business leaders and IT
consult with users and clients to solve complex system issues/problems through in-depth evaluation of business processes, systems and industry standards and recommends solutions
support system change processes from requirements through implementation and provide input based on analysis of information
consult with business clients to determine system functional specifications and provide user and operational support
identify and communicate risks and impacts, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment
understanding business priorities, documenting requirements and determining solutions in partnership with the vendors/internal teams
working hands-on with vendor and internal systems to ensure the trading platform is up to date with the latest offerings
developing test strategies, documenting test scenarios and executing test scripts
facilitating meetings with the appropriate subject matter experts to obtain specifics on requirements
liaising with Operations and Front Office staff to ensure that required project artefacts are collated
opportunity to interact with cross-functional internal teams across multiple levels as well as interaction with external vendors

Requirements:

5-8 years of relevant experience
experience in data analysis with intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
proven interpersonal, data analysis, diplomatic, management and prioritization skills
consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
proven ability to manage multiple activities and build/develop working relationships
proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly
demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail
bachelor's degree/university degree or equivalent experience

Nice to have:

an understanding of Futures and Options products and processes
practical experience in analysis/design/implementation of successful projects in the Futures front office area
good understanding of regulatory obligations for electronic trading
experience of defining/documenting business strategies/requirements
good understanding of the FIX protocol
hands-on experience in analysing trade data, familiar with order types
experience in developing test strategies and coordinating with QA teams
vendor management
exposure to global stakeholders
Futures Electronic Execution Trading knowledge
ability to work and analyse mass data
