Job Description:

The IT Project Senior Analyst role involves managing projects and application management responsibilities for the Markets Technology team. The role requires strong communication skills, project planning expertise, and knowledge of financial markets. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders, managing global projects, understanding business requirements, and ensuring technology solutions align with business goals.

Job Responsibility:

Manage application manager role and BAPM role in the Markets Technology team
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders located in different geographies
Understand the Mkts lingo to analyze treasury requirements
Deliver local, regional, and global enhancements or projects end-to-end
Manage business-driven, revenue generation, or regulatory initiatives
Act as a Product Owner/Scrum master and create/manage user story backlogs
Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements
Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams
Conduct risk assessment for application developments
Plan and manage technology product stacks
Monitor and track project execution using JIRA and other tools.

Requirements:

8+ years experience in an IT project leadership role/ BAPM relevant experience & with commensurate people management experience
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
Masters degree in Banking/finance/associated domains would be preferred
Previous experience in banking/BFSI or associated domain would be a plus
Well versed with Agile Methodology
Strong analytical skills
Strong communication and diplomacy skills
Skilled in managing both local and global projects within specific domains
Proficient in project planning, estimation, and resource allocation
Skilled in using Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence).

Nice to have:

Experience in banking/BFSI or associated domains
Understanding of Mkts domain like FX, Derivatives, Rates/Fixed Income
Experience working with multiple stakeholders across geographies
Familiarity with data visualization and analysis technology
Strong understanding of regulatory mandates and requirements.
