Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking a System Administrator for a client located near Huntington Park, CA. The role involves managing an on-prem environment, verifying server needs, and ensuring the system runs appropriately. The environment includes VMWare ESXi, HP servers, and Office 365. The position is 100% onsite, with a pay rate of $45-48/hr, 40 hours per week, and a duration of 6 months with potential for full-time employment.

Job Responsibility:

Give overview of IT system and bring everything up to speed
Organize servers and help with solutions to make it less difficult to access all other servers
Verify what they have and what they need for their servers environment and what should be done to keep them running appropriately
Work with 2 main server rooms and 2 satellite rooms within a 3 mile radius
Act as liaison between vendor (e.g., Motorola) and Jeff
Take ownership of system administration tasks

Requirements:

Understand HP servers
Proactive, open communicator and personable with all levels of staff
Experienced with Office 365 & ESXi Host
