Job Description:

We are offering a full time employment opportunity for an IT Technician II in Charleston, South Carolina. As a crucial member of our team, you will be tasked with complex technical issues that require advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. You will also be responsible for server administration, network configuration, and project delivery in the IT industry.

Job Responsibility:

Apply advanced problem-solving capacities to resolve intricate technical challenges
Oversee server management, administration, and configuration tasks across Windows Server and Linux platforms
Utilize proficiency in virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V
Manage network configurations including routers, switches, and firewalls
Demonstrate working knowledge of cloud services including AWS, Azure, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Google Cloud
Handle escalated issues from entry level technicians and provide effective solutions
Engage in project scoping and design, ensuring successful delivery of complex projects
Train and mentor entry level technicians, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable team environment
Leverage strong organizational skills for efficient workflow and project management
Maintain relationships and negotiate with vendors, utilizing vendor management experience

Requirements:

Skilled in Cisco CCNA principles and methodologies
Solid understanding of CompTIA Network+ concepts
Experience with VMware is required
Familiarity with Hyper-V is needed
Demonstrated ability to utilize Amazon Web Services (AWS) is necessary
Proficiency in Azure Active Directory is expected
Capability to work with Microsoft Azure is essential
Experience with Firewall management is required
Knowledge of Network Switches is a must
Familiarity with Router Switches is required
