Job Description:

Our client is a highly reputable global financial services provider operating in Japan. The position involves tasks such as monitoring JGB settlement, liaising to resolve settling problems, reporting, reconciliation, processing margin calls, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Key systems used include Murex GDM, I-STAR CORE, and BOJ-NET.

Job Responsibility:

Monitoring of JGB and other JPY Bond Settlement with domestic CCP
Liaising to solve any settling problems
Statistic reporting / Regulatory Reporting
Bond Positions and Cash positions reconciliation
Auctions and BOJ Operations processing
Reconciliation of Cash/Repo/ deals between systems as well as between brokers, clients and CACIB in Europe
Margin call processing
Strategy and Business Planning
Management and Reporting (Report to the head of CMO BO Japan)
Communication with Government Bond Trading, Local Compliance, Bond domestic settlement, Extended BO, Local Finance
Systems Used (Internal - Murex GDM, JIBOS, APEX, Calypso Bonds
External - I-STAR CORE, MUFJ RTGS (JGB), BOJ-NET, JSDA WAN, JSCC WEB)
Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities (Comply with legal, regulatory and Compliance requirements
Financial Security requirements
Maintain knowledge to perform role effectively
Complete mandatory training)

Requirements:

Experience Required: 2 to 3 years in JGB settlement
Time management
Self motivated
Efficient communicator
Creative & independent
Innovative
Team Oriented
IT literate
Mathematically minded
Good understanding of Clearing & Settlement structures
JSDA 1st & 2nd license
JSDA internal administrator
Compliance knowledge
Excel skill (intermediate level)

Extensive market knowledge
