Job Description:

An international firm is seeking a Junior Attorney for their congenial San Jose office. This role offers mentorship from senior trial attorneys and the opportunity to gain substantive experience in litigation.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee overall case management, including drafting motions and handling discovery requests
conduct depositions and participate in court proceedings
develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
actively market the firm to new and potential clients through frequent and direct contact
have the ability to travel as this position may present opportunities for travel

Requirements:

1 to 2 years of experience in professional negligence, product liability, or real estate-related litigation
professional degree in law from a recognized institution
licensed attorney with the ability to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
proven experience in civil litigation
ability to draft motions and other legal documents with precision and accuracy
excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
strong communication skills, both written and verbal
must adhere to professional ethics and have a high level of integrity
demonstrated ability to work independently and also collaborate effectively in a team
must keep up-to-date with changes in law and new developments in the legal industry
