Job Description:

In this position as a Junior Broker, you will be required to support and work closely with the HOD of Financial Lines to manage and grow financial lines business and assist with day-to-day duties. You will be expected to identify and act upon new business opportunities which promote the profitable development of the business and participate in the development of Financial Lines reinsurance business in line with the Company's plans and targets. The ideal incumbent will be expected to provide a quality service to clients covering all aspects of their reinsurance arrangements; to advise, arrange, and secure the appropriate cover at a competitive premium. The successful incumbent will also assist to maintain up-to-date and orderly files, and ensure documents are saved and files are passed on to others in accordance with Company Rules and Procedures. Offers hybrid work arrangement. Office is located at CBD. Attractive salary package, bonus and benefits.

Job Responsibility:

Support and work closely with the HOD of Financial Lines to manage and grow financial lines business and assist with day-to-day duties
Identify and act upon new business opportunities which promote the profitable development of the business
Participate in the development of Financial Lines reinsurance business in line with the Company's plans and targets
Provide a quality service to clients covering all aspects of their reinsurance arrangements
Advise, arrange, and secure the appropriate cover at a competitive premium
Maintain up-to-date and orderly files, and ensure documents are saved and files are passed on to others in accordance with Company Rules and Procedures

Requirements:

Relevant experience as a Broking / Broker Support or Junior Broker or Account Executive experience with other brokers are welcome
Candidates who aspires to be a broker and with strong problem solving skills
Candidates with general insurance or personal lines background are welcome
Excellent follow-up skills and good administration skills
Strong communication skills and follow-up skills
Ability to work well under pressure and tight timeline
