Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Junior Buyer to join our clients procurement team in a manufacturing environment. This temp-to-hire position is perfect for candidates looking to gain hands-on purchasing experience and grow within the supply chain field. Experience with SAP is preferred, but not required.

Job Responsibility:

Assist in purchasing raw materials, components, and supplies to meet production demands
Create and track purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
Maintain vendor relationships, communicate order status, and resolve supply issues
Utilize SAP (preferred) or other ERP systems to manage procurement data
Monitor inventory levels and support cost-saving initiatives
Collaborate with internal teams, including production, logistics, and accounting
Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and industry standards

Requirements:

1-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain, preferably in manufacturing
SAP experience is a plus but not required
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other procurement tools
