Job Description:

Seeking a bright and motivated Junior Estate Planning Associate to join an established firm in Napa, California. The role involves working alongside experienced attorneys, drafting estate planning documents, conducting client interviews, and staying updated on California probate and estate law.

Job Responsibility:

Assist attorneys with drafting and reviewing estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
Conduct client interviews and gather information to prepare legal documents
Research legal issues and precedents to support casework
Manage client files and communicate effectively with clients and team members
Stay up-to-date on changes in California probate and estate law
Contribute to the ongoing development and operation of the practice

Requirements:

Strong writing, communication, and research skills
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in legal research databases and word processing software
California Bar License
