Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy, flagging discrepancies for resolution
Process client or patient payments, track outstanding balances, and follow up on delinquent accounts
Provide backup support for AP functions, including invoice coding and payment processing
Assist in preparing schedules and supporting documentation for financial audits
Create and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses to support decision-making

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
1–2 years of bookkeeping or accounting internship experience preferred
healthcare industry knowledge a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or NetSuite)
Familiarity with GAAP and an understanding of financial principles
Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time-management skills
Effective communicator, both verbal and written, with a positive and proactive attitude
