The primary role of a Jury Consultant is to perform all tasks associated with jury related litigation consulting, including mock trials/focus group moderation, online jury research, shadow juries, jury selection, community attitude surveys, witness prep, voir dire, demographic profiling, reporting, and other related litigation consulting services.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct mock trials and focus group moderation to gather data for case preparation
Perform online jury research to understand the potential jury pool and to help in the strategy development
Facilitate shadow juries in real-time to gauge reactions and adjust strategies accordingly
Assist in the jury selection process by evaluating potential jurors based on their demographic profiles and responses during voir dire
Conduct community attitude surveys to understand public opinion on specific issues related to the case
Prepare witnesses for trial by coaching them on their presentation and answering potential questions
Lead voir dire by questioning potential jurors to assess their suitability for the case
Create demographic profiles of potential jurors to help in the selection process
Compile and present reports detailing the findings from various research methods
Provide strategic recommendations to clients based on qualitative and quantitative analyses
Requirements:
Juris Doctor, Law Degree, University Degree, or PhD
Experience in Jury Trials and Jury Selection
Proficient in Statistical Methodology and Research Analysis
Demonstrable experience in Consulting and Strategic Recommendations
Profound Courtroom Experience and Litigation skills
Knowledge of Trial Preparation, Pretrial, and Post-trial procedures
Familiarity with Civil Litigation, Voir Dire, and Legal Terminology
Proficient in Survey Methodology, Demographic Profiling, and Data Profiling
Skilled in Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis, Research, and Methods
Experience with Focus Groups and understanding of Human Behavior
Strong Presentation skills and the ability to use Presentation Software
Ability to conduct Predictive Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SPSS Statistics
Thorough understanding of Social Sciences, Social Psychology, and Neuroscience
Experience in Legal Proceedings, Civil Court, and Moot Court
Excellent Communication and Client Communication skills
Familiarity with Social Media platforms
Background in Behavioral Modeling and Consumer Behavior
Ability to provide Consulting Services and deal with Legal Issues
Knowledge of Heuristics and ability to make Data-Driven Decisions
Experience in creating Trial Exhibits and use of Trial Prep aids, Models, Mockups
Proficient in handling Witnesses and Depositions
Ability to work with Profilers and understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis
Familiarity with Trial Experience and Pre-trials
Experience in handling Legal Issues and Legal Knowledge
Ability to conduct Qualitative Data analysis and Quantitative Data Analysis
Experience in handling Legal Proceedings, Civil Court, and Moot Court
