Job Description:

Randstad is seeking qualified KS2 Teachers to work in primary schools across Abram, Wigan. This role involves teaching KS2 students, delivering lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and adhering to the curriculum.

Job Responsibility:

  • Inspire and educate students in a dynamic and supportive environment
  • Communicate effectively with and encourage children with additional needs
  • Demonstrate a dedicated interest in children's education and creating the best learning environment
  • Employ various teaching methods to enhance student engagement
  • Exhibit strong organisational and verbal communication skills
  • Adhere to the curriculum, including up-to-date changes in its structure
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons and use your subject knowledge to bring work to life
  • Manage classroom behaviour positively and effectively

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications (PGCE, QTS, etc.)
  • Classroom experience with KS2 teaching and children
  • Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum
  • Passion for teaching and learning
  • Two professional references from the last five years (one must be a child-based safeguarding reference)
