Job Description:

Randstad is recruiting tutors in Leeds, West Yorkshire, for KS3 and KS4 students in subjects such as Maths, English, Science, History, and Geography. Tutors will support student confidence and subject knowledge through face-to-face and online sessions, collaborating with stakeholders and adhering to safeguarding standards.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver face-to-face sessions and online tutoring
work with small group cohorts from 1:1 to 1:6
create tailored lesson plans
assess student progress using the internal reporting system
deliver engaging sessions to support varying learning styles
drive measurable outcomes
collaborate with educational and care stakeholders
work with schools, foster carers, and social workers to ensure tailored support
work in accordance with KCSIE and safeguarding guidelines

Requirements:

QTS
NQTs
Teaching Assistants with Level 1-3 qualifications
HLTA certification
graduates considering a career within education
DBS on the update service or willing to acquire one
experienced in tutoring one-to-one or small groups
experience working in inclusion units, special settings or alternative provisions
experience with students with SEN, children with undiagnosed SEN, disengaged young people or looked after children

Nice to have:

effective communication skills
competent IT skills
access to laptop/computer with audio and visual capability
stable broadband and internet connection
ability to develop meaningful relationships
ability to encourage and motivate students
