Johnson & Johnson is seeking a lab technician to join the Advanced Therapies team in Leiden, contributing directly to research and laboratory operations within Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine. Responsibilities include handling laboratory materials, maintaining safety equipment, managing waste, and working in a regulated lab environment.
Job Responsibility:
Handling and distributing laboratory materials (glassware, coats, etc.)
cleaning, assembling, sterilizing, disassembling, and decontaminating glassware
maintaining and testing safety equipment (e.g., eye wash stations)
managing biological and chemical waste collection and disposal
liaising with vendors for material and waste pick-up
maintaining a clean and organized work environment
keeping accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements:
Completed MBO or Bachelor education within Biology, Chemistry, Life science or compatible
experience in a laboratory and with GLP or GMP is a great plus
speak, write, read and understand English.
