Job Description:

The Laundry Attendant will operate and monitor laundry machinery, ensure cleanliness and quality of articles, and maintain safety and company standards. The role involves physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and inspecting items, as well as fostering positive relationships and supporting team goals.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure the 'Gold Standards' of The Ritz-Carlton are delivered graciously and thoughtfully every day

Requirements:

Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery
Identify stained or damaged items
Inspect cleanliness of articles
Set dryers to designated times and temperatures
Remove lint and debris
Fold cleaned articles
Maintain accurate records
Follow safety and security policies
Report accidents and unsafe conditions
Complete safety training
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Maintain confidentiality
Protect company assets
Develop positive working relationships
Support team goals
Listen and respond to concerns
Ensure adherence to quality expectations
Identify and recommend improvements
Visually inspect tools and equipment
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 25 pounds
Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Reach overhead and below the knees
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested

Nice to have:

No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
