Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Law and Motion Attorney to join the in-house litigation team of a large manufacturing and consumer goods company based in Los Angeles. This role requires knowledge of litigation procedures and laws, exceptional communication skills, and a strong ability to advocate on behalf of the company's many brands. This role is fully remote and does not require attending hearings or depositions.

Job Responsibility:

Drafting and responding to discovery requests
Drafting and arguing demurrers, motions to strike, discovery motions, summary judgment motions, and other motions as required
Conducting legal research and advising clients on their legal rights
Collaborating with legal teams and clients to develop case strategies.

Requirements:

Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Membership in good standing with the California State Bar
Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong research and analytical skills
Licensed to practice in California
Proficiency in Law & Motion
Must have a strong background in legal research, able to investigate and analyze complex legal problems and generate solutions
Excellent legal writing skills, with a demonstrated ability to produce clear, concise and effective legal documents and correspondence.
