Job Description:

At Citi Fund Services is undergoing a major transformation effort to transform the way data is integrated, processed and leveraged to drive business value. As part of this journey we are building scalable containerised solutions that enable real time data processing and seamless integrations across the funds services estate. We are looking for a talented lead data engineer to help shape the future state and modernise our existing data platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to join the organisation at the early stages of this data transformation journey which will have a real impact on the future of the funds services business.

Job Responsibility:

Architect and develop enterprise-scale data pipelines
Implement and optimize delivered solutions
Develop containerised solutions
Ensure solution is aligned to ci/cd tooling and standards
Ensure solution is aligned to observability standards
Effectively communicate technical solutions and artifacts to non-technical stakeholders
Contribute to the journey of modernizing existing data processors
Collaborate with cross function domain experts to translate business requirements to scalable data solutions

Requirements:

Significant years of hands-on experience in software development
Proven experience in data integration / data pipeline developments
Multi-year experience in Data integration development (Ab Initio, Talend, Apache spark, AWS Glue, SSIS or equivalent)
Multi-year experience in SQL Oracle, MSSQL and equivalents
Expertise with Cloud-native development and Container Orchestration tools (Serverless, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.)
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Exposure to Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
Demonstrable expertise in financial services considered a plus
Self-starter with the ability to drive projects independently and deliver results in a fast paced environment
