Job Description:

Join our Omnicare pharmacy team as a Support Staff member and work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering the best customer support. Assist in order entry tasks and medication dispensing processes. Work alongside the pharmacist to ensure accuracy and provide best in customer service.

Job Responsibility:

Assist in order entry tasks and medication dispensing processes
Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions
Entering new and refilling orders in a timely and accurate manner
Preparing backup pharmacy orders
Complying with a process that addresses all state and federal guidelines regarding medication labeling

Requirements:

Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician

Nice to have:

Prior experience in the long-term care industry
PTCB National Certification
