Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and ambitious Science educator to join our team as a Lead Practitioner of Science. This role is suited to a passionate professional with a track record of excellence in teaching and learning, who is ready to take on a leadership role within the department.

Job Responsibility:

Lead the development of teaching and learning strategies in Science across the school, inspiring best practices and innovation
Coach and mentor fellow teachers, providing constructive feedback and fostering professional growth
Drive improvement in student outcomes through the effective delivery of high-quality lessons and targeted intervention strategies
Contribute to the broader school leadership team, supporting the school's vision and values.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong background in teaching Science
A proven track record of improving student achievement through excellent teaching and leadership
The ability to inspire and develop others, with a passion for raising standards.
