As a Learning and Development Manager at St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a smooth and effective brand transformation by equipping associates with the skills, knowledge, and mindset needed to embrace the new brand identity. You will design and implement training programmes that align with the brand’s vision, values, and service standards while fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute a comprehensive training strategy to align associates with the new brand identity, culture, and service philosophy
Conduct workshops, e-learning modules, and hands-on training to ensure associates understand the brand’s values, customer experience expectations, and operational changes
Implement brand-specific guest service training to elevate customer experiences and reinforce the new brand’s standards
Establish training programmes for front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and other operational teams to enhance service consistency
Partner with operational leaders and property leadership to assess if associates demonstrate effective technical and leadership skills
Develop leadership and career development programmes to upskill associates and support internal career growth
Introduce learning initiatives that enhance associate motivation, retention, and engagement in the new brand environment
Ensure all training programmes comply with industry standards, health & safety regulations, and hotel policies
Tracks key business indicators (associate and guest satisfaction, retention, and financial results) to determine the effectiveness of current training and development programmes and makes adjustments as necessary
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Organisational Development, or a related field
3+ years of experience in Learning & Development, preferably in the hospitality industry
Strong experience in managing training programmes during a brand transformation or rebranding process
Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
Familiarity with e-learning platforms, learning management systems (DLZ), and blended learning approaches
Strong leadership and change management capabilities to support associates through transitions
