Job Description:

As a Learning Support Assistant (SEN Teaching Assistant), you will play a vital role in supporting children with diverse needs, both in and outside the classroom. Your focus will be on helping students reach their full potential by providing tailored assistance and guidance.

Job Responsibility:

Assist the class teacher in delivering effective lessons
Foster a positive and engaging learning environment
Provide individual support to facilitate student learning
Monitor student progress and report the findings to the teacher and parents
Adhere to the school's policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Skills like behaviour management, patience, empathy when handling children with complex needs
Ability to engage with children proactively and gain their trust
SEN teaching experience or childcare experience for at least 6 months
Driving on own to the school is an advantage
Proven professional references with clean records
Enhanced DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Flexible and adaptable mindset
Genuine passion for education and child development.

Experience with autism spectrum disorders
Experience with learning difficulties
Experience with social emotional mental health
Knowledge of inclusiveness
