Job Description:

As a Learning Support Assistant (SEN Teaching Assistant), you will play a vital role in supporting children with diverse needs, both in and outside the classroom. Your focus will be on helping students reach their full potential by providing tailored assistance and guidance. This role is rewarding and impactful, offering the opportunity to make a real difference in a child's educational journey.

Job Responsibility:

assist the class teacher in delivering effective lessons
foster a positive and engaging learning environment
provide individual support to facilitate student learning
monitor student progress and report findings to the teacher and parents
adhere to the school's policies and procedures

Requirements:

behaviour management
patience
empathy
ability to proactively engage with children
SEN teaching experience or child care experience for at least 6 months
driving on own to the school is an advantage
professional references with clean records
enhanced DBS check
eligibility to work in the UK
