An opportunity for a Legal Administrative Assistant to support a busy and diverse legal team with a variety of administrative duties, client relations, and project management tasks.
Job Responsibility:
Accurately process and maintain client case files and other legal documents
Manage effective communication with clients, staff, volunteers, and other stakeholders
Assist in producing educational videos and organizing webinars for small business owners
Implement improvements to project processes and systems as needed
Ensure consistency of project data across all systems by preparing and organizing spreadsheets and reports
Perform data entry tasks and maintain legal database with up-to-date case, client, and community engagement information
Provide general administrative support as requested, including scanning and copying of documents
Assist in conducting intakes for potential clients when necessary
Coordinate multiparty events on various virtual platforms and in person
Handle other duties as assigned by the supervisor or directing attorney
Requirements:
Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat for document management and editing
Experience with Case Management Software to effectively manage and track legal cases
Familiarity with CompuLaw or similar legal management software
Ability to handle Billing Functions, including invoice generation and payment tracking
Proficient in Calendar Management to schedule appointments and reminders
Experience in Claim Administration, including claim filing and tracking
Strong Client Relations skills to maintain and develop client relationships
Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficient in Data Entry, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data handling
Ability to perform Scanning tasks, digitizing physical documents for easier access and management
