Job Description:

Robert Half is partnering with a law firm; and sourcing for a Legal Assistant/Paralegal for a contract/contract-to-hire opportunity.

Job Responsibility:

Assist in managing legal matters related to financial/banking regulatory compliance, corporate and business Law, employment Law, landlord tenant issues, municipal/governmental issues, collections, and real property
Draft and review business and industry-related documents and contracts
Conduct comprehensive legal research and gather relevant information for cases
Organize and manage client files while ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible
Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, and managing correspondence
Coordinate communications with third-party referral law firms and other partners
Use legal research tools and software effectively, such as Westlaw and LexisNexis
Utilize case management software and other business software proficiently
Assist attorneys in preparing for scheduling, preparing, and attending meetings

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years experience in a legal assistant or paralegal role
Familiarity with Case Management Software
Experience in briefing and preparing legal documents
Strong skills in calendar management
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
