Job Description:

A well-established law firm is seeking Legal Assistants and Paralegals to support its Workers’ Compensation and Liability Insurance Defense practice. This position offers an excellent opportunity for both recent grads and career professionals to develop their litigation and case management skills in a fast-paced legal environment.

Job Responsibility:

Assist attorneys with case management, pleadings, and legal documentation
Conduct legal research and ensure compliance with legal procedures
Work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively
Communicate with clients, courts, and other legal professionals
Utilize case management software to organize and track case details

Requirements:

1-2 years of legal experience in Workers’ Compensation or Maryland litigation processes preferred
Strong communication, attention to detail, and follow-up skills
Experience with case management software (e.g., Time Matters) is a plus but not required

Nice to have:

Experience with case management software (e.g., Time Matters)
