Job Description:

We are in search of a Legal Assistant to join a prominent firm in Cincinnati, Ohio. Responsibilities include handling correspondence, trial preparation, client contact management, invoice processing, time entry review, court document filing, travel coordination, and deadline monitoring. Requirements include 2+ years of experience in a Legal Assistant role, strong calendar management skills, excellent client relations, and outstanding communication skills.

Job Responsibility:

Handle correspondence and ensure timely responses to inquiries
Play a key role in trial preparation, including the creation of exhibit binders and scheduling depositions
Maintain and manage client contacts, emails, and print documents, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
Process invoices for client disbursements and firm expenses
Record, review, and correct time entries for assigned timekeepers
File court documents as necessary and maintain a comprehensive pleading file index
Coordinate work-related travel arrangements
Respond to requests with urgency, prioritize work, monitor deadlines, and communicate the same to the assigned team

Requirements:

Possess a minimum of 2 years experience in a Legal Assistant role
Strong capabilities in Calendar Management
Excellent Client Relations skills
Outstanding Communication skills in both written and verbal format
