Job Description:

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Legal Assistant in Sarasota, Florida. In this role, you will be expected to perform various administrative tasks within a legal environment, including drafting documents, managing calendars, and handling client relations.

Job Responsibility:

Accurately and efficiently process legal documents and e-filings
Maintain and manage the legal calendar to ensure all deadlines are met
Foster strong relationships with clients through effective communication and problem-solving skills
Draft legal documents in accordance with commercial litigation guidelines
Handle incoming and outgoing telephone communications
Assist with other administrative tasks as needed within the legal department

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a legal setting
Proficiency in Calendar Management
Strong Client Relations skills
Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience in Commercial Litigation
Familiarity with e-File and e-Filing systems
Ability to Draft Legal Documents and other types of documents accurately and efficiently
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines consistently
