Job Description:

As the department that oversees global legal functions, this department handles legal-related tasks for our group companies. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, analyzing legal risks, providing legal analysis and support for resolving disputes, and improving governance management.

Job Responsibility:

Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various contracts with domestic and overseas business partners
Researching and compiling Japanese and overseas related laws and regulations for various transactions and product development projects
Analyzing legal risks and proposing risk reduction measures
Clarifying cases of various troubles both domestically and internationally
Providing legal analysis and support for solving cases
Supporting the implementation of measures to prevent recurrence and promoting dispute cases
Governance management, legal compliance management, legal advice
Raising awareness, education and training, creating mechanisms for improving legal compliance

Requirements:

Qualified attorney in Japan and/or a major overseas country
More than 5 years of experience working in a domestic or overseas law firm or equivalent legal work experience
Ability to review and draft contracts in English and Japanese, and ability to negotiate internally and with business partners
Ability to analyze facts and laws and regulations and the ability to resolve issues and disputes based on them

Nice to have:

Motivation to contribute to business management by utilizing legal or corporate legal work experience
Experience studying abroad in an English-speaking country, or experience training or working overseas
Experience working for a multinational company, whether Japanese or foreign-affiliated
Experience working for a business company in the retail or fashion industry
