Job Description:

We are looking for a Liability / construction underwriter based in London. Focusing on complex casualty within the Liability & Construction team. In addition to underwriting and account management, the role will involve identifying new opportunities and, as part of the wider team the development and implementation of new schemes and rollover deals. You will also be responsible for mentoring and developing less experienced colleagues and carrying out broker meetings on behalf of the business.

Job Responsibility:

Focusing on complex casualty within the Liability & Construction team
Underwriting and account management

Carrying out broker meetings on behalf of the business

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years’ Liability Underwriting experience
Has/is working towards professional qualifications
A well-rounded understanding of different product classes
Possess substantial knowledge of the insurance industry
Have the ability to underwrite complex risks
Display proven trading capability
Possess strong interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
IT competent, particularly with Microsoft Office applications
A desire to contribute valuable insights and aid in our company’s evolution
