Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection services
administer vaccine injections
assess patients during intake
take vital signs
perform diagnostic tests such as EKG and Retinopathy screening
perform Point of care testing
perform patient registration and intake
manage wait room
order equipment and prepare the clinic for the best patient experience
help meet the mission to provide patient-focused connections and activities.

Requirements:

Provide holistic, evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients
education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infection (STI) prevention and safer sex practices
administer immunizations and injections including COVID-19, influenza, TB, Depo, and provide evidence-based vaccine counseling and education
minimum of one-year related work experience in a healthcare setting
experience documenting within an Electronic Medical Record
ability to take vital signs, perform phlebotomy blood draws, and perform Point of Care Testing
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol is required.

Nice to have:

Phlebotomy Certificate or phlebotomy experience
previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room
