Job Description:

We are seeking a Licensing Coordinator for a role based in Monticello, Minnesota. The primary focus of this role is to ensure an efficient life insurance application process. The successful candidate will liaise with insurance agents and carriers, manage customer inquiries, and maintain customer records. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Job Responsibility:

Coordinate the submission of new applications to the insurance carrier, ensuring all requirements are met
When necessary, order medical exams and records
Follow up with agents and carriers regarding requirements and process updates
Utilize Salesforce to manage all life insurance cases
Maintain professional communication with stakeholders via email and phone
Adhere to all service level agreements and work to meet them efficiently
Gain a thorough understanding of carrier workflows and navigate carrier websites effectively
Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals and provide assistance when needed
Identify and implement process efficiencies to improve overall customer service
Conduct background checks as part of the customer application process

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role or related field
Excellent customer service skills
Understanding of life insurance principles and regulations
Proven ability to perform background checks
Proficient in composing and managing email correspondence
Experience with multi-line phone systems
Familiarity with Salesforce.com
Strong organizational skills
High attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well in a team and independently
Proactive and able to take initiative
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
