A premier law firm, recognized for its excellence in national litigation risk management, is seeking a talented Litigation Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team in downtown, Wilmington, DE. This firm is celebrated for its innovative approach to complex litigation, particularly in toxic tort defense, and offers a collaborative environment where attorneys can thrive professionally.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the proactive management of toxic tort litigation cases, including asbestos, from inception through resolution, in both state and federal courts
Draft pleadings, conduct comprehensive legal analysis, manage written discovery, and prepare dispositive motions
Conduct depositions of key witnesses, maintain clear communication with clients, and collaborate effectively with paralegals and support staff
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (J.D. / JD) from a US ABA-accredited law school
Active license to practice in Delaware
licensure in Pennsylvania (PA), New Jersey (NJ), and/or Maryland (MD) is a plus
3-5+ years of litigation experience, with a focus on toxic torts, mass torts, asbestos, or related fields
Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills, with the ability to manage a complex caseload and work effectively both independently and within a team
Nice to have:
