Job Responsibility:

Represent clients in all phases of civil and commercial litigation disputes
Conduct initial case investigation to determine, in the client's best interest, if a lawsuit is warranted
Compose and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations
Attend pre-trials, trials, hearings, and negotiation meetings
Conduct research and analysis of legal problems, interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses
Keep abreast of legislative changes that may affect your clients and the operation of their businesses

Requirements:

Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
Admitted to practice in the State of Missouri
Minimum of 2 years' experience in civil litigation and/or commercial litigation
Proven background in effectively managing a full caseload
Outstanding research and analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
Ability to work independently and within a team
