Job Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity with a suburban law firm in the Minneapolis Metro Area. We are seeking a Litigation Associate with 3-5 years of civil litigation experience. This role involves managing legal procedures, handling case management software, and briefing documents.

Job Responsibility:

Managing legal procedures with a focus on civil litigation
Utilizing case management software to track and manage cases effectively
Preparing and briefing documents to ensure they are ready for review
Conducting depositions to gather necessary information and evidence
Handling motion practice as part of the litigation process
Ensuring all client and case details are accurately recorded and updated
Resolving client inquiries promptly and professionally
Monitoring client accounts and initiating appropriate actions when needed
Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth case progression

Requirements:

Possess a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Must be admitted to practice law in Minnesota
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal team, with a focus on litigation
Excellent research skills with the ability to analyze complex legal documents
