Job Description:

Reputable lifestyle law firm with a friendly and collaborative work culture is seeking a dynamic Litigation Attorney to join their team operating primarily in the industry of business litigation, real estate, and employment defense. This role is based in Sherman Oaks, California, and offers a hybrid workplace setting, with the option for remote work, provided you are within driving distance.

Job Responsibility:

Manage employment litigation, business litigation, or real estate litigation cases from start to finish, working on 5 or 6 significant cases simultaneously
Conduct and manage discovery, case analyses, and motion practice
Perform extensive legal research tasks and draft legal documents
Handle depositions, demonstrating strong deposition experience
Maintain regular contact with high-end clients, including Fortune 500 companies, ensuring their needs and inquiries are addressed professionally
Uphold the firm's commitment to quality by producing top-notch work
Utilize your skills in Civil Litigation, Claim Administration, Complaint Handling, and Employment Law
Stay up-to-date with developments in Employment Law and adjust strategies accordingly
Leverage your Licensed Attorney status to provide expert legal advice
Prepare and manage all legal documents related to client cases

Requirements:

Must hold a valid license to practice law in California
Minimum of 3 years of experience in practicing law
Demonstrable experience in Civil Litigation and Employment Law
Proficiency in Claim Administration and Complaint Handling
Experience in drafting motions and conducting depositions
Must adhere to ethical standards and demonstrate professional conduct at all times
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide sound legal advice
High level of organization and attention to detail
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Proficiency in legal research
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Strong commitment to client service and demonstrated client management skills
