Job Description:

Robert Half is in search of a permanent Litigation Attorney to be a part of a wonderful firm in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be expected to manage complex civil litigations, formulate effective litigation strategies, and negotiate settlements for legal disputes. You will also represent clients in various legal proceedings and maintain constant communication with them regarding the progress of their cases.

Job Responsibility:

Take on the representation of clients in a variety of legal proceedings, particularly complex civil litigations
Draft, manage, and review various legal documents, including but not limited to briefs, pleadings, and discovery requests/responses
Represent clients during pre-trial proceedings and mediations, providing them with the necessary legal counsel
Develop and implement effective case strategies in anticipation of trial, ensuring the best possible outcome for the client
Conduct depositions as part of the discovery process in civil proceedings
Regularly update clients on the progress and status of their case, ensuring they remain informed at all times
Negotiate settlements for legal disputes effectively, aiming for resolutions that are in the best interest of the client

Requirements:

Must hold a valid license to practice law in Wisconsin
Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Attorney is required
Experience in Civil Litigation is necessary
