Job Description:

A midsized law firm in Downtown Seattle is seeking a Litigation Attorney. Cases include matters of business disputes, employment law, construction litigation, real estate disputes and other civil or commercial litigation. They offer a friendly collaborative environment in a modern office with beautiful views.

Job Responsibility:

Preparation of pleadings and briefs in trial courts, administrative proceedings, and appellate courts
All aspects of discovery
Stand-up courtroom experience
Direct client contact
Researching issues
Providing general counseling services

Requirements:

1-7 years of general civil or commercial litigation experience
Juris Doctor with strong academic credentials
Excellent writing, research, and communication skills
Active Washington State Bar License
Law journal participation and/or judicial clerkship preferred

Nice to have:

Law journal participation and/or judicial clerkship
