Job Description:

The firm is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented litigation attorney who can work autonomously and effectively in a remote setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of litigation procedures and be capable of managing cases from inception to resolution. This position involves drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, managing discovery, communicating with clients, and assisting with trial preparation when necessary.

Job Responsibility:

Handle a variety of litigation matters, including civil cases and complex disputes
Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents with precision and a strong attention to detail
Conduct advanced legal research to support case strategies and arguments
Manage discovery, including depositions, document review, and discovery responses
Correspond with clients, co-counsel, opposing counsel, and court personnel professionally
Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials as required
Work with the litigation team to meet deadlines and achieve successful resolutions for clients

Requirements:

Must hold a valid and current California bar license and remain in good standing
Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, preferably in California courts
Demonstrated ability to manage litigation cases independently with minimal supervision
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in legal research platforms and litigation support tools
Comfortable working remotely with a reliable internet connection and necessary technology setup
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments simultaneously

Nice to have:

Experience in specific practice areas, such as business litigation, employment law, or contract disputes
Familiarity with e-discovery tools and case management systems
Prior experience working in a remote environment
