Job Description:

Our client, a leading Sacramento-based firm, is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 2+ years of experience in insurance defense or coverage matters to join their dynamic team. The role offers flexibility, career development opportunities, and a supportive hybrid work environment.

Job Responsibility:

Representing clients in insurance defense and coverage litigation
Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
Conducting legal research and analysis related to insurance coverage issues
Managing the discovery process, including written discovery, depositions, and evidence preparation
Working alongside senior attorneys and partners to prepare for mediations, arbitrations, and trials

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, specifically in insurance defense and/or coverage work
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
active membership in the California State Bar
Exceptional legal research, writing, and organizational skills
proficiency in managing cases through all stages of litigation
Strong communication abilities to work effectively with clients and colleagues
